Gardaí at Tallaght are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred shortly before 12.30am this morning, Saturday, the 27th August 2011.
The 23 year old male victim was taken from outside a new apartment complex at Cushlawn to the Adelaide and Meath Hospital (incorporating the National Children’s Hospital), Tallaght by ambulance. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
The scene has been preserved and the services of the Garda Technical Bureau and the State Pathologist have been requested.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing. An incident room has been established in Tallaght.
