A male in his mid 30's who had been detained in relation to this incident will appear at the Criminal Courts Of Justice, Parkgate Street this afternoon the 24/09/10 at 4.30pm .

As a result of ongoing investigations into Organised Crime in the Dublin Metropolitan Region, Gardai from the South Central Division carried out a number of searches today the 22nd Sept 2010.
A unit at Damastown Industrial Estate, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15 was one of the premises searched and four machine guns (INGRAM) subject to ballistic examination along with a quantity of ammunition and a number of magazines and 4 silencers were found on these premises. One male in his mid thirties was arrested at scene and is currently being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 -1998 at Kevin Street Garda Station.
A number of searches were carried out in the Dublin 8 area by D.M.R South Central Detective Units assisted by the Garda Emergency Response Unit.
