Shooting of Robert Delaney on the 22/10/08 - Arrest of one male on the 14/10/10

Gardai in Tallaght investigating the shooting of Robert Delaney on the 22nd October 2008 at Russell Rise, Tallaght have this morning, the 14th October 2010 arrested one male.

The male (20 yrs) is being detained in Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.

Robert Delaney remains in a critical condition in Tallaght Hospital.

Gardai in Tallaght investigating the shooting of Robert Delaney on the 22nd October 2008 have this morning 6th September 2010 arrested three males.

They are aged 57, 31, and 32, and are detained in Tallaght (2) and Rathfarnham (1) Garda stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

This brings to nine the number of people arrested as part of this investigation,

No charges have arisen at this point in the investigation.

Gardai at Tallaght are appealing to the public for their help in relation to the shooting of a young man at Russell Rise at 6.30am on Wednesday morning the 22/10/08.

In particular they are appealing for any sightings of an unregistered White Honda INTEGRA ‘R’ type car stolen from a garage on the Naas Road on the morning of 22/10/08.

The car was located at Mountpellier View at 7.30am on the 22/10/08.
