Gardai in Donegal Town are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Donegal bypass between the Tullyearl and Dromlonagher roundabouts at approximately 4pm this evening (22.10.10).
A male in his 60’s, who was driving one of the cars, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in his car and the driver and passenger of the second car were all taken to Letterkenny General Hospital with injuries described as not serious.
This stretch of road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Traffic is being diverted through Donegal town.
