Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Waterford Road, Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny.
A male pedestrian, aged in his 20s, was seriously injured shortly before 6am this morning when he was stuck by a motor car. He was taken by ambulance to St. Lukes Hospital where he was pronounced dead.<_o3a_p>
The road is currently closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.<_o3a_p>
