Gardai at Newastle West Co Limerick are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the 17th October 2010.
A 20 year old woman was fatally injured when the car she was driving was involved in a collision which involved four motorcars at Ballymurragh, Newcastle West at approximately 2210 hours.
A four year old male passenger travelling in a second motor car was taken by ambulance to Limerick Regional Hospital his condition is described as not life threatening. A male (aged 40s) and a female (aged 30s) also taken to Hospital with minor injuries have since been discharged.
The road was closed for technical examination over night and has since re-opened.
