Fatal road traffic collision on the N25 at Knockgriffin near Waterock Cross, Midleton, Cork on the 23/11/10

Gardaí at Midleton, Cork are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred yesterday, Tuesday, the 23rd November 2010.

The collision occurred when a 48 year male pedestrian was crossing the eastbound part of the dual carriageway on the N25 at Knockgriffin near Waterock Cross when he was struck by an oncoming car.

The man died this evening at Cork University Hospital as a result of his injuries.

The man is currently in a critical condition at Cork University Hospital.
