Burglary and false imprisonment at Crumlin, Dublin on the 28/11/10

Gardai in Crumlin are investigating an incident of Burglary and False imprisonment at a house in Crumlin on the 28th November 2010.

At approximately 6.20pm on the 28th November 2010 a number of males made their way into a house in Crumlin while the residents were at home.  The Gardai were called and the intruders escaped through the rear of the house. The Gardai  began a search of the area and located a jeep on fire on Hughes Road South.  Dublin Fire Brigade were on scene and extinguished the fire.  In the jeep the Gardai discovered a firearm (subject to Ballistic examination).

No one was injured in the incident.
