Fatal road traffic collision at Newcastle West, Limerick on the 29/5/10

Gardaí at Newcastle West, Limerick are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Barnagh, Newcastle West (N21) at approximately 8.30am this morning (29/5/10)

The male driver (mid 20’s) of one of the vehicles was fatally injured. The driver of the second vehicle has been injured, his injuries are not believed to be serious. There were no other persons involved.

The N21 remains closed pending a Garda Forensic Technical Examination and diversions are in place.
