Aggravated burglary in Dundalk, Louth on the 28/3/10

Gardai in Ardee, Louth are investigating an incident in which a woman in her early 40’s was tied up and threatened in her home by three masked men.

The men wore dark clothing and had their faces covered.

The incident happened at a house on Commons Road, Dromiskin, Co. Louth shortly after 9.00pm on Sunday, the 28th March 2010.

The men fled the scene with a small amount of cash and some electronic items.

The woman who was the sole occupant of the house at the time managed to free herself and raise the alarm.

She was taken to Drogheda Hospital but later released with minor injuries.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who was in the area of the Commons Road between 8.00pm and 9.30pm on Sunday and may have noticed anything unusual to contact the incident room in Ardee Garda Station on 041- 6871139  or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111.
