As part of the ongoing investigating into the sale and supply of illegal drugs, Gardai from the Blanchardstown Drug Unit have charged a man in his 20s, this evening the 11th June 2010.
He will appear before Dublin District Court No 44 tomorrow morning the 12th June 2010.

As part of an ongoing investigating into the sale and supply of illegal drugs gardai from the Blanchardstown Drug Unit have seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €450,000.
Gardai carried out a planned search in sheds at the rear of a house on Blakestown Road this afternoon (08.06.10) and discovered an elaborate and high tech cannabis growing operation. Cannabis plants (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of up to €450,000 were discovered. 9 stun guns (subject to technical examination) were also discovered.
A male in his 20’s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice ( Drug Trafficking ) Act 1996.
