Drug and arrest at Ballyfermot, Dublin on the 8/6/10

As the result of an operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Ballyfermot area, Gardaí from the Ballyfermot Drugs Unit searched a house on Cherry Orchard Parade at approximately 1pm this afternoon.

During the course of this search heroin with a potential street value (subject to analysis) of €150,000 was seized.

A 19 year old man was arrested at scene and is presently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
