Drug and ammunition seizure in Limerick on the 9/6/10

As the result of an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity in the Limerick area Gardaí searched a house on Shanabooley Road, Ballynanty, yesterday evening, Wednesday, the 9th June 2010.

During the course of this search a handgun and 15 rounds of ammunition were seized.

No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
