Fatal road traffic collision on the N72 at Barraduff, Kerry on the 25/8/10 - Update

In relation to this morning’s (25/8/10) fatal collision in Co. Kerry -

A fourth person (male) has died in Kerry General Hospital as a result of injuries sustained.

Gardai in Killarney, Co. Kerry are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 7.10am this morning, Wednesday, 25th August 2010 on the N72 at Barraduff, Kerry (the main Killarney to Mallow road).

Two males and one female all in their teens (exact ages not yet confirmed) were pronounced dead at the scene after the car in which they were travelling collided with a tree.
 

The other 2 male occupants of the car have been taken to Kerry General Hospital with serious injuries.
 

The road has been closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
