Fatal road traffic collision at Ballyhale, Kilkenny on the 18/4/10 - Witness appeal

Gardai in Thomastown are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Sunday the 18th April 2010 at approximately 1.50pm in Co. Kilkenny.

The collision occurred on the R699, the Knocktopher to Kilmoganny road, between a car and a motor bike.  The motor bike was one of approximately 100 motorbikes travelling together on a charity bike run from Clonmel to New Ross.

Garda are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Knocktopher, Ballyhale, Co.Kilkenny on the 18th of April 2010 at 1.50 p.m.

A motorcyclist in his 40's was fatally injured when his motorcycle was in collision with a car.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out on the 19th of April.
