Fatal Stabbing at Tyrrelstown, Dublin on the 2/4/10 - Charges

Gardaí at Blanchardstown are appealing for witnesses to a fatal stabbing which occurred last night, the 2/4/10 at Boulevard Mount Eustace, Tyrellstown, Dublin 15.

The 2 men arrested in relation to a fatal stabbing that occurred in Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15 on 2nd April 2010 have been charged. 
 

They will appear before a special sitting of Dublin District Court 44 at 4pm today. 
 

Their ages are 23 and 38 years respectively.

Gardaí at Blanchardstown are appealing for witnesses to a fatal stabbing which occurred last night, the 2/4/10 at Boulevard Mount Eustace, Tyrellstown, Dublin 15.

An altercation is believed to have occurred at the above location and at a location at Mount Garrett Rise, Tyrellstown shortly after 7pm last night between a number of people.

 Anyone who may have witnessed these incidents, who may have information or who may have seen a Black Nissan Qashqai in the general area last night is asked to contact the Gardaí at Blanchardstown 01- 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.

 The two men arrested in connection with this incident remain in custody in Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.

 Door to door enquiries have commenced and investigating Gardaí are supported by the Garda Community Policing Section and the Garda Racial and Intercultural Office.

A press briefing will take place in Blanchardstown Garda Station at 12.30pm today- Saturday 3rd April 2010 in relation to last night’s fatal stabbing in Tyrrelstown.

A 15 year old male received stab wounds and was removed to  Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown where he was pronounced dead  a short time later.

Two males were arrested in connection with this incident and are currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
