A kilo and a half of what is believed to be cocaine was seized in the operation.
Gardai have arrested a man and seized a quantity of cocaine following a search operation in Naas, Co. Kildare.
Gardai from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Organised Crime Unit and local Gardai from Naas carried out a search of a house at Laken View in Naas at 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 9th of September 2009.
A kilo and a half of what is believed to be cocaine was seized in the operation. The drugs, subject to analysis, have an estimated street value of €100,000.
A 34 year old man was arrested and is detained at Naas Garda Station, under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. He can be detained for up to seven days.
