Robbery of a financial institution in Phibsboro, Dublin on the 22/9/09

Gardai are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the Phibsboro area from 09.00hrs onwards on the 22/9/09.

 

Gardai investigating a robbery of a sum of money from a financial institution in Phibsboro this morning, the 22nd September 2009 have arrested a male.

 

The suspect who is in his early 20’s was arrested in the Cabra West area by Detectives from Mountjoy Garda Station. During the course of the arrest a sum of money was recovered. The suspect is currently being detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 50 Criminal Justice Act 2007.

 

Gardai are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the Phibsboro area from 09.00hrs onwards this morning and may have seen something suspicious or unusual to contact them at Mountjoy on 01 666 8600 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111
