Gardai have seized drugs in two separate operations in Dublin last night, the 1/9/09.
Gardai have arrested 3 males, one in his 20’s and two in their 30’s following a search of a business premises at the Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Dublin yesterday evening (1/9/09). Cannabis resin with an estimated street value of over €2 million (subject to analysis) was seized.
All three are detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996 at Clondalkin Garda Station.
In a separate operation, Gardai from the Organised Crime Unit have arrested 5 males in their 20’s and seized 35 kilos of what is believed to be cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €420,000 (subject to analysis) at Airside Business Park, Swords, Dublin at approximately 6pm yesterday evening (1/9/09).
The prisoners are being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Santry, Ballymun and Swords Garda Stations.
