A female pedestrian was seriously injured when she was struck by a car.
Gardaí in Coolock are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Malahide Road, Coolock at 6.15 p.m. this evening, the 26th October 2009.
A 81 year old female pedestrian was seriously injured when she was struck by a car and was taken to Beaumont Hospital.
The lady passed away later this evening.
The scene has been examined by Garda forensic collision investigators.
