Gardai have named the male who was fatally injured in a collision at Dunard Upper on the 30/11/09 as Mark Flaherty from Glin, Co. Limerick.

Gardai in Listowel are investigating the circumstances of a Fatal Road Traffic Collision involving one car. The collision occurred at approx.05.40hrs on the 30th November 2009. There was one male driver of the car (19yrs). He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision occurred at a place called Dunard Upper on the Tarbert to Ballylongford Road (R551). Gardai are looking for witnesses to contact the Gardai in Listowel on 068 50820 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
The road remains closed until the afternoon pending a forensic collision examination.
