A male was arrested at the scene.
Gardai from Listowel this evening, the 26/11/09 carried out a search of a house in north Kerry. During the search a large number of cannabis plants were recovered. The estimated street value (subject to analysis) is €220,000. A small quantity of cannabis herb was also recovered.
A male aged in his 30's was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Listowel Garda Station.
In a follow up operation a woman aged in her 20’s was also arrested and is being detained at Tralee Garda Station, also under the Drug Trafficking Act.
The investigation is ongoing.
