Incident which occurred on Offaly Road, Cabra, Dublin.
Gardaí are investigating an incident which occurred on Friday evening, the 22nd May 2009 at approximately 7pm on Offaly Road, Cabra, Dublin 7.
A man in his early 70s was assaulted. He was taken to the Mater Hospital for his injuries and subsequently died on Thursday 28th May 2009.
Gardaí arrested a man in his early 20s in relation to the incident on 23rd May 2009.
He has been released from Garda custody and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
