Fatal road traffic collision on the N69 at Kildimo, Limerick on the 29/5/09 - Witness appeal

Gardaí at Askeaton are appealing for witnesses to yesterday’s fatal traffic collision on the N69.

They are particularly anxious to talk to a woman who was immediately on the scene and who rendered medical assistance to the deceased.

Gardai at Askeaton, Co. Limerick are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 6pm this evening (29/5/09) on the N69 at Kildimo.

The N69 is the main road between Limerick and Kerry.

A male passenger (23 years) in one of the vehicles was fatally injured, another male passenger was injured. The male driver was uninjured.

The male driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.

The road is currently closed pending a Garda Forensic Collision Investigation. Diversions are in place.
