Gardai at Swinford, Co. Mayo are investigating a three vehicle collision on the N5 at Bahola.
Gardai at Swinford, Co. Mayo are investigating a three vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 6.35pm this evening (29/5/09) on the N5 at Bahola.
The N5 is the main road between Westport and Dublin.
A female driver in her 50’s was fatally injured when her car collided with another vehicle, a third vehicle was also involved.
Two other people were injured, their injuries are not described as life threatening.
The road is currently closed pending a Garda Forensic Collision Investigation. Diversions are in place.
There is no further information at this time.
