Shooting at East Wall, Dublin on the 25/6/09

A male approached the house and fired a number of shots at one of the occupants.

 

Gardaí at Store Street are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a house on West Road, East Wall, Dublin 3 at approximately 11.40pm last night, the 25/6/09.

 

A lone male approached the house and fired a number of shots at one of the occupants with a handgun at the doorway.

 

He made good his escape on foot in the direction of Stoney Road where he got into a saloon car - no better description.

 

The culprit himself is described as being a male in a dark coloured hoody top with a white stripe on the sleeve, wearing a black and white scarf, approximately 5'6'' in height and stocky build.

 

The injured party is a 19 year old male who was taken to the Mater Hospital.  His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

 

There were a number of adults in the house at the time.
