Two cars and two SUV's collided resulting in the death of the driver of one of the SUV's.
Gardaí at Baltinglass are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, involving 4 vehicles, which happened at approximately 4.30pm at Mullacagh on the N81, 3 kilometers south of Hollywood Cross.
Two cars and two SUV's collided here resulting in the death of the driver of one of the SUV's. He was a man in his 30's and he has been removed to Naas General Hospital.
Six other people were injured in the collision and they were taken to Naas and Tallaght Hospitals.
None of their injuries are believed to be life threatening.
The road is closed at present pending a forensic collision investigation. Diversions are in place.
