Fatal road traffic collision at Cardiffsbridge Road, Dublin on the 27/6/09

A motorcycle collided with a SUV. The motorbike had 2 males on board.

 

Gardaí at Finglas are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the Cardiffsbridge Road shortly before 3.30pm this afternoon, the 27/6/09.

 

A motorcycle collided with a SUV.  The motorbike had 2 males on board, both in their early 20's.

 

One was killed and taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown and the other was seriously injured and taken to the Mater Hospital.

 

It is not yet determined who was driving and who was the pillion passenger.

 

The road is closed at present pending a forensic collision investigation.
