Discovery of body in Blanchardstown, Dublin on the 25/6/09

On the 25/6/09 Gardai received a call to an address at Pheasants Run, Dublin 15, where the body man had been discovered by other residents of the house.

 

Gardai in Blanchardstown are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a man aged 31 years at a private residence in a housing estate.

 

On the 25/6/09 at approximately 18.30 hours Gardai received a call to an address at Pheasants Run, Dublin 15, (near Clonee) where the body man had been discovered by other residents of the house.

 

The body was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where following a Post Mortem examination, conducted by Dr. Curtis, of the State Pathologists’ Office, the deceased was found to have suffered head injuries.

 

The scene has been preserved for Technical Forensic Examination.

 

An incident room has been set up at Blanchardstown Garda Station and enquiries are ongoing.
