Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Oldcastle area and have any information to contact Oldcastle Garda Station on 049-8541102.
Garda in Oldcastle, Co. Meath are investigating a robbery which occurred at a bank in Oldcastle shortly after 11am this morning - 30th January 2009.
Two males dressed in high visibility jackets and wearing balaclavas entered the bank and threatened staff and customers with knives.
They took a quantity of cash and made their getaway in a grey / silver hatchback car bearing a registration starting with 05 KE.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Oldcastle area or have been travelling on the road from Oldcastle to Castlepollard between 10.45am and 11.15am and have any information to contact Oldcastle Garda Station on 049-8541102.
