Gardai in Bandon have named the 42 year old man who was fatally injured in the road traffic collision at Oldchapel on the 27th December, 2009 as Flor Crowley, Garryndruig, Timoleague, Cork.

Gardai in Bandon are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which happened at 12.10pm today – 27th December 2009 at Oldchapel on the Bandon to Timoleague Road.
A 42 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene after the car in which he was the sole occupant was involved in a collision. He was taken to Cork University Hospital. The car struck a ditch.
The road is currently closed and is expected to be re-opened at approx 7pm on the 27th Dec
