Gardai have seized a large quantity of drugs following the search of a house in Newcastle Co. Dublin this morning the 27th of September.
Gardai have seized a large quantity of drugs following the search of a house in Newcastle Co. Dublin this morning the 27th of September.
The search was carried out by detectives from Rathcoole and Clondalkin supported by the Clondalkin Drugs Unit. In the course of the search one kilo of cocain and a quantity of cannabis resin were seized. It is estimated, subject to forensic tests, that the drugs may have a street value in excess of 1 million euro. Two firearms and a quantity of ammunition were also seized.
No arrests have been made and the operation in on-going.
