Arrests in Richard "Happy" Kelly murder

Gardai from the Clare and Limerick divisions conducted a planned operation this morning at 6 a.m. 9th September, 2008 in relation to the murder of Richard "Happy" Kelly and arrests.

Gardai have released  two (2) males and one(1) female from custody. They were detained under Sec. 30 of the Offences Against The State Act at Killaloe and Ennis Garda stations.

Two (2) male remain in custody at Shannon Garda Station.

Gardai from the Clare and Limerick divisions conducted a planned operation this morning at 6 a.m. 9th September, 2008 in relation to the murder of Richard "Happy" Kelly. 

Richard "Happy" Kelly was discovered in Lough Brigit in O'Calllaghan's Mill, Co. Clare on 29th Novermber, 2007.  He has been reported missing from his home in O'Malley Park, Limerick since 25th April, 2006. 

Five people have been arrested (4 Males and 1 Female), they range in age from 20 years to 36 years.  They are detained at Ennis (2), Shannon (2) and Killaloe (1) Garda Stations respectively, under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act.
