Gardai in Ballyfermot have arrested two men while on routine mountain bike patrol on Rossmore Road, Ballyfermot and seized a quantity of drugs at approximately 9.30 p.m. last night 3rd October, 2008.
Gardai in Ballyfermot have arrested two men while on routine mountain bike patrol on Rossmore Road, Ballyfermot and seized a quantity of drugs at approximately 9.30 p.m. last night 3rd October, 2008.
They are one male aged mid 20's and the second male aged 18 years and are being detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 2 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. One kilo of heroin and a quantity of cannabis resin were seized. It is estimated, subject to forensic tests, that the drugs may have a street value in excess of €200,000.00.
