Gardai at Donegal Town are investigating a Fatal Road Traffic Collision that occurred shortly after 12.30a.m. this morning, the 1st November, 2008 on the main N15 between Ballyshannon and Donegal Town.
A 40 year old male pedestrian was fatally injured when he was struck by a car. He was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
Gardai have closed this section of road and diversions are in place. The scene is being examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
