Shooting incident at Monasterevin, Kildare on the 20/5/08 and witness appeal.

Gardai in Kildare are appealing for witnesses to the shooting incident that took place in the car park of Delaney's Restaurant, Ballintogher, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare

 

Gardai in Kildare are appealing for witnesses to the shooting incident that took place in the car park of Delaney's Restaurant at Ballintogher, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare on the 20/05/08.  

The Gardai are particularly interested in the movements of a large silver saloon type car that was involved in the incident.

This car arrived at the scene from the Monasterevin direction and left in the Ballybrittas direction.

This car may have been driven in an erratic manner before or after the incident at approximately 11.30pm. 

Any members of the public that may have witnessed the incident or seen unusual activity in the vicinity of Delaney's Car Park between 10pm and 11.30pm are asked to contact the Gardai at Kildare Garda Station on 045 527730 or the Garda Confidential line 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

Gardai in Monasterin, Co. Kildare are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Ballintogher, Monastervin, Co. Kildare at approximately 11.30pm last night (20/5/2008).

A 32 year old man was shot in the arm, as he sat in his vehicle in a car park. 

The injured party made his way to Kildare Garda station, where he reported the incident. The man was then taken to Naas Hospital for treatment. 

The scene is being preserved pending a technical examination. 

The man has now been removed to Tallaght Hospital, his injuries are not life threatening.
