Gardaí at Portarlington in Laois are investigating a two car fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Annamoe, Portarlington, Co. Offaly.
Gardai have named the men killed in Sunday's (11th May) crash near Portarlington, Co Laois as Jim Blanc, 53 years, of Emmet Street, Mountmellick, and 21 year old Adam Zygadlo of Bay View, Mountmellick, Co Laois and a native of Poland.

Gardaí at Portarlington in Laois are investigating a two car fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 13.55 hours this afternoon, the 11th May, 2008 at Annamoe, Portarlington, Co. Offaly.
Two males that were fatally injured, aged approximately 50 years and 20 years were in the same car, one was the driver and other was a back seat passenger.
Their bodies have been removed to Portlaoise Hospital. Five other people were taken to hospital with injuries and they are believed to be not life threatening.
The road is closed at this time as traffic Collision Investigators are at scene and diversions are in place.
