Gardai from Henry Street Garda Station are investigating the death of a 16 year old male at Carrig Midhe, Westbury, Co Clare.
A 19 year old man will appear at Limerick District Court this morning at 10.30 a.m. charged with assault causing bodily harm.
This charge arises from an incident at Carrig Midhe, Westbury, Co. Clare on 10th May and relates to the non-life threatening injuries sustained by the second 16 year old youth referred to in an earlier press release (11/05/08 20:40 - see below).
A file relating to the garda investigation into the death of Roman Vysochan is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardai at Mayorstone Garda Station in Limerick have tonight arrested a second male in connection with the death of Roman Vysochan. Shortly before 7pm, on the 12th of May, the 19 year old was arrested and brought to Mayorstone Garda Station.
He is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardai have named the 16 year old youth that died last night 10th May, 2008 at Carrig Midhe, Westbury, Co. Clare as Roman Vysochan of Ashley Close, Westbury, Co. Clare.
He was a Ukrainian National. A second youth aged 16 years that was injured in the same incident was removed to Limerick University Hospital with a stab wound. he remains in hospital and his injury is not life threatening.

Gardai from Henry Street Garda Station are investigating the death of a 16 year old male at Carrig Midhe, Westbury, Co Clare.
The incident happened shortly after 11pm on the 10th of May 2008.
The youth, who is believed to be Latvian, was found lying on the footpath with a chest wound and was pronounced dead on arrival at Limerick Regional Hospital.The scene of the incident has been preserved for technical examination.
Shortly before 8.00 am on the 11th of May a 16 year old male was arrested in relation to the incident, he is detained at Mayorstone Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
