The name of the deceased who died following a road collision at The Prom, Salthill on 22/2/08 is Aileen Feeney, 22 years, of Ballymeeney, Dromore West, Galway.

Gardaí at Salthill are investigating a single fatal road traffic collision that occurred at 3.30a.m. on Friday 22nd February, 2008.
A 22 year old female driver was seriously injured at The Prom, Salthill, Galway when the car she was driving collided with the back of a parked lorry.
The woman was removed to University College Hospital, Galway where she died this morning from her injuries.
