A 7 year old male pedestrian has died following a single vehicle fatal traffic collision near Finglas Village.
The collision occurred 8th March 2008 at 11am on the N2 near the Clearwater Shopping Center in Finglas, Co. Dublin.
As the car involved in the collision was an unmarked Garda patrol car being driven by a member of An Garda Siochana, the incident has been referred to the Garda Siochana Ombudsman Commission in accordance with normal procedure.
All queries in relation to the incident will now be dealt with by the Office of the Ombudsman.
