Gardaí at Athlone are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred off the N61 at Curraghboy Road, Athlone, Co. Roscommon
Gardai have named the 18 year old victim as Jason Daly from Dysart, Co. Roscommon.
The crash took place on the 5th of July.

Gardaí at Athlone are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10am this morning 5th July off the N61 at Curraghboy Road, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.
The 18 year old male sole occupant of a car was killed when the car he was driving went out of control and collided with a ditch.
His body has been removed to Roscommon County Hospital.
