The post mortem has been completed on the body of the man found in a shed in the rear of an unoccupied house.

The post mortem has been completed on the body of the man found in a shed in the rear of an unoccupied house.

It was carried out by the office of the State Pathologist, in the Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe.

It is confirmed that the body is that of local person Richard Carrig, who was reported missing to Gardai a week ago.

As a result of the post mortem Gardaí are satisfied that foul play is not suspected.
