The Divisional Garda Drugs Unit attached to Roxboro Road Garda Station stopped a car at on the 2nd April 2008 on the Ballysimon Road, Limerick.
The Divisional Garda Drugs Unit attached to Roxboro Road Garda Station stopped a car at 6pm (approx) on the 2nd April 2008 on the Ballysimon Road, Limerick.
The car and the five occupants were taken to Henry Street Garda Station where a search of the car revealed a hidden fuel tank.
A quantity of herbal cannabis with a street value of €180,000 was discovered in this tank.
The five occupants 4 males, 1 female are currently detained under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 in Henry Street Garda Station.
The female is 25 years of age, Males age range between 25 and 35.
