As part of Operation Tara, Limerick Gardaí have seized approximately €80,000 of cocaine in Kileely, Co. Limerick this morning, Wednesday 28th March 2024.
The search of a residential premises was conducted by Gardaí attached to Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit. During the course of this search suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of €80,000 was recovered.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
A man, aged in his 50s, has been arrested and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a Garda Station in Co. Limerick.
Investigations are ongoing.
