PSNI Superintendent 2024

PSNI is seeking for applications for promotion to the rank of Superintendent and applications are invited from police officers currently substantive in the rank of Chief Inspector. 

Superintendents contribute to the development of culture, climate and working processes in their area to ensure adherence to standards, and the promotion of accountability and continuous improvement. This role has specific legal powers to help maintain law and order. Candidates need to have the ability to focus on organisational capability, working to optimise the resources we have and meet the changing policing demands and challenging financial environment. The Superintendent rank in the PSNI has a variety of roles and disciplines which include operational, detective, public order, and counter terrorism.

For those applying from other Police Forces/Services, a relocation package to cover removal and incidental expenses is available. Police Service allowances will also apply.
