Drug seizure and arrest in Geashill, Offaly on the 3/8/12
As part of an ongoing investigation Gardai from Tullamore and the Garda National Drugs Unit carried out a search at a house in Geashill, Co Offaly, on the 3rd August 2012.
During the operation a grow house was discovered when Gardai searched two sheds located at the rear of a house. Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €280,000 (pending analysis) were seized and a male in his 30's arrested.
The man is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Tullamore Garda Station.
