Cannabis plants seized and four men arrested Galway 14th July 2012.
As part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of Cannabis, Gardai carried out searches at two addresses in the Oranmore and Mervue areas of Galway on Saturday evening the 14th of July 2012.
During the operation two grow houses were discovered and cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €730,000 (pending analysis) were seized. Four males (3 in aged in their 20s and one in his 30s) were arrested and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Galway Garda Station.
