Drug seizure, firearms recovered and arrests Rathfarnham, Dublin on the 26/6/12
At approximately 3.40pm Gardai attached to Rathfarnham Station Station seized cocaine with and estimated street value of €280,000 (pending analysis),
And herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €275,000 (pending analysis) and recovered 2 shotguns along with a large quantity of ammunition when they searched a motor car and a van at an apartment complex in the Rathfarnham area of Dublin.
Two men, aged in their 20's and 30's, were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda Stations.
During a follow up operation Gardai search a nearby apartment and recovered cash in excess of €100,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
