Launch of Great Garda Run 2012 on the 3/4/12

The ‘Great Garda Run 2012’ initiative was launched by the Garda Commissioner at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin 4,

The ‘Great Garda Run 2012’ will see 100 Staff of An Garda Síochána, take part in the Munich Marathon on Sunday the 14th October 2012, in aid of Our Lady's Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.  The Munich Marathon is a world renowned event which culminates with a lap of the historic Olympic Stadium.  

The 999 Appeal for Crumlin Hospital: 

Each participant will be encouraged to raise €999 for Our Lady's Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.  As with previous Great Garda Run events, all fundraising proceeds raised by participants in this initiative, will go directly to the nominated charity (Our Lady's Children’s Hospital, Crumlin).
