Property stolen during Dunmanway Fire Station burglary
Which occured between Sunday, 26/2/12, 9:30 pm – Monday, 27/2/12, 06:30 am.
Gardai in Dunmanway are investigating a burglary that occured at the Fire Station, Park Road, Dunmanway, Co. Cork between Sunday, the 26th February and Monday, the 27th February 2012. A large number of Industrial Cutting Equipment was taken in the course of the burglary with a value of approx. €22,000.

Description of the property stolen:
The equipment stolen is heavy duty hydraulic cutting equipment, i.e. Hydraulic Cutters / Rams / Spreaders, and includes all necessary pumps and hoses. This equipment is petrol driven, and ready to operate, without the need for generators etc. The property is specialised fire brigade equipment, not in general usage outside fire services. All of the equipment carries the branding of Swiss company “Weber”, primary colours Gold and Black.
